With the kids at a school holiday camp at the local Leisure Centre and Amber working, I made the most of the morning running a few errands, getting the car washed and the house ready for us to leave. For once we had been organised and most of the packing was already done, so just before 4pm we set off from home picking the kids up on the way. To break the journey to Plymouth we had booked a Travelodge just off the A303 at Ilminster, and with a stop off in Andover at Pizza Express for tea, we had an uneventful drive to our accommodation.
I didn't even take a photo of my clean car or pizza, so this will be a very rare photo-less blog post!
